Job Description

Hyundai Automotive South Africa is looking for a Senior Manager: Parts & Aftersales to join its Service Department, based within the Hyundai District. 

To develop and implement an integrated parts and aftersales tactical strategy, ensuring alignment across dealership and regional operations. The role is responsible for driving profitability, customer satisfaction, service excellence, and operational efficiency through effective management of parts sales, vehicle servicing, and aftersales functions. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy & Operations (Process)
  • Develop, align, and implement integrated parts and after-sales strategies and operational plans
  • Drive achievement of sales targets (parts and aftersales services)
  • Ensure effective service delivery across parts distribution, servicing, and support functions
  • Manage stock control, parts returns, and supplier relationships
  • Monitor and optimize operational performance, turnaround times, and quality standards
  • Identify market opportunities, risks, and improvement areas
  • Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks
  • Implement service level agreements with stakeholders
  1. Financial Management
  • Drive revenue growth through parts sales and aftersales services
  • Maximize profitability through cost control and efficiency improvements
  • Monitor and implement financial controls and governance processes
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and expenditure
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
  1. Customer & Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and OEMs

Experience & Requirements:

  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • At least 2 – 3 years’ managerial experience

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet)
  • Strong understanding of:

Motor / automotive / logistics industry
