Job Title: Booking Clerk
Location: Hyundai Western Cape Region
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Booking Clerk to join our team. The Booking Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of bookings, assisting customers with inquiries and reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage booking and reservation systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
2. Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from customers regarding bookings.
3. Process bookings and reservations promptly and accurately.
4. Communicate with guests to confirm details of their bookings and provide necessary information.
5. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and issuing receipts.
6. Maintain a neat and organized work area and assist with general administrative duties as needed.
7. Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints.
8. Stay informed about current promotions, events, and special offers to effectively upsell and cross-sell to customers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and booking software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
