Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks and audits
- Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in inventory levels and implement corrective actions
- Update and maintain inventory records in the company's database or inventory management system
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and trends for management review
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock shrinkage and loss
- Work closely with other departments to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory
- Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve stock-related issues
- Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role in a retail or warehouse environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
