Job Title: Sales Manager - Used Vehicles
Location: East Region (specific location to be determined)
Purpose:
The Sales Manager - Used Vehicles is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and profitability goals for used vehicles in the designated region. This role will oversee all aspects of the sales process, including inventory management, pricing strategies, customer relations, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets for used vehicles
- Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve performance goals and provide ongoing training and development
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective campaigns and promotions to attract customers and drive sales
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction with all transactions
- Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and vehicle merchandising to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure seamless and efficient sales processes
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
