Job Title: Roving Stock Controller
Location: Hyundai Bellville
Job Purpose:
The roving stock controller will be responsible for visiting multiple locations to ensure accurate and efficient management of stock. This role will require strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular stock counts at various locations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
2. Monitor stock levels and organize restocking when necessary.
3. Ensure that stock is stored and handled correctly to prevent damage or loss.
4. Investigate any discrepancies or shortages in stock and report findings to the Stock Control Manager.
5. Implement and maintain stock control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
6. Communicate with store managers and staff to address any stock-related issues or concerns.
7. Assist with the implementation of new stock management systems or technologies.
8. Provide training and support to store staff on stock control procedures.
9. Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies for management review.
10. Assist with other duties as required by the Stock Control Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in stock control or inventory management preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
