Job Title: Stock Controller
Location: Hyundai Milnerton
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Stock Controller. As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all stock levels, including incoming and outgoing shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for reorder when necessary
- Conduct regular stock counts and ensure counts are accurate
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of stock
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with stock levels
- Implement inventory management best practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to optimize stock flow
- Ensure compliance with all inventory control procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar stock control role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using inventory management software
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
- Certification in inventory management is a plus
